Clinton P. Greub

Clinton Greub has a mixed practice of patent litigation and patent prosecution. With a background in cellular and molecular biology, his focus is primarily in the biotechnological and pharmaceutical areas.

Clinton’s graduate research focused on gene stacking techniques, using recombinases for gene integration and nucleases for marker gene deletion. His thesis concentrated on correlating gene expression analysis with phenotypic structures to develop drought resistant rice.

While pursuing his law degree, Clinton participated in the Patent Experience Extern Program (PEEP) at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and he worked as a summer associate at Finnegan. Prior to law school, Clinton worked at the U.S. Department of Agriculture and at DuPont Pioneer, Inc.

Before beginning his legal career, Clinton served four years on active duty in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas, and in South Korea, where he was a tactical controller for Patriot missile systems.

Clinton maintains an active pro bono practice. He has successfully represented clients in various matters, including landlord/tenant disputes and veterans appeals.
