Ms. Anderson's practice is focused on representing boards of education, county boards of developmental disabilities, and municipalities on an array of issues, which includes labor and employment and general counsel services. In her education practice, Ms. Anderson counsels her clients on the myriad of issues regularly faced by school administrators and boards of education, including personnel issues surrounding discharge and discipline and teacher evaluations; collective bargaining negotiations, grievances and arbitrations; pupil issues; levy matters; public records and open meeting act concerns; and board policy concerns. In her general counsel practice, she advises public entities on labor and employment, planning and zoning and board governance matters, among others. Finally, in her employment practice, Ms. Anderson counsels private and public employers on a variety of human resource and personnel issues, including defending employers against discrimination and harassment claims before the EEOC, OCRC and in state and federal courts.
