Silwood Park
Silwood Park has a gym and plenty of outdoor space available for various sports.
Opening hours
Monday to Friday: 09.00 - 17.00
Weekends: CLOSED
The gym at Silwood has been temporarily relocated to Unit A while wider campus projects are completed.
The temporary gym offers users a range of both cardiovascular and resistance equipment. The gym is currently open to all Imperial students living in residence and Imperial staff working on the Silwood campus.
How is Silwood currently operating?
Pre-booking
We need to carefully manage how many people are using Silwood at any one time. This means that you'll have to pre-book a session via the Teams Booking sheet when you want to visit.
Social Distancing
Some equipment will be taken out of action and select equipment should only be used when the adjacent piece is not being used.
Enhanced Cleaning
Enhanced cleaning will be implemented in the gym area and we ask that all users clean all equipment used before and after use. A free-standing hand sanitiser has also been relocated to the gym area.
How to join
This gym is not manned. All users must complete a Health Commitment Statement and request access to the pre-booking spreadsheet before accessing the gym. Please contact Andrew Greig to complete these steps.
