Reviews for Epilepsy Foundation Of Northern California
My son attended the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California's Coelho Epilepsy Youth Summer Camp for the first time in 2015. Although this was his first extended trip away from family, he said he felt totally excited and happy to be at the camp. The staff were experienced with working as counselors to children with epilepsy, and some of the staff themselves had epilepsy. My son said he felt quite comfortable with the staff and fellow campers because he could relate to them so much. The highlights for him were the canoe trips, campfires, and just hanging out with the other kids. He definitely wants to attend again next summer, and we plan to sign him up.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California is a wonderful resource for me, and the epilepsy community in Northern California. I wish I could provide more funding to this non-profit for them to take the rest of California under their wing. The seizure first aid trainings are absolutely necessary, as I have seen even medical persons do incorrect and damaging seizure first aid. But it's also great to have fun things to enjoy, where I feel safe and protected. All in all, it's a fantastic, and the employees are kind, caring, and knowledgable and I trust them.
