Fraud, Waste & Abuse Hotline
The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) investigates fraud, waste, or abuse involving:
- federal student aid funds
- lending institutions and collection agencies
- Department of Education funds or programs (and funding recipients)
- contractors or employees
Anyone having such knowledge should contact us. Complaints may be submitted anonymously via the online complaint form, facsimile or U.S. Postal mail.
