The Department of Education is committed and dedicated to protecting the privacy rights of students, teachers, and administrators in schools around the country. The Office of the Chief Privacy Officer leads the Department’s Privacy Program. The Department’s Senior Agency Official for Privacy (SAOP) is Kevin Herms.
