Transforming education through engaging and authentic learning experiences
Project-based learning (PBL) helps students of all levels to practice their individual creativity and to develop the communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills they need in a knowledge-based, highly technological society. In every business sector, employers most value workers who exhibit these skills.
PBL was born in Napa Valley in 1996 at New Technology High School. In 2012 NapaLearns was founded with the goal of bringing project-based learning to more schools in Napa County. As a result, the NexTech program funded by NapaLearns makes PBL available to more than 11,000 students.
We invest in the tools, technologies, and professional development that schools need to implement project-based learning.
