CARS (CHARITABLE ADULT RIDES & SERVICES)
CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) is a nationally recognized social enterprise nonprofit that helps thousands of nonprofits in the US and Canada increase their fundraising and acquire new contributors through turn-key vehicle donation programs. Since 2003, CARS has returned more than $300 million to our partners. CARS also reinvests in our community by providing meals and transportation solutions to seniors each year through a program called On the Go.
Our Mission
To serve as a social enterprise that enables sustainable revenue streams for nonprofit organizations of any size across North America. We achieve this by providing access to turn-key donation programs. We are committed to treating every donor with gratitude and premier service. In addition, our mission includes support services to aide in the growth and professional development our nonprofit partners. We set out to make "CARE EASY"!
Our Vision
For almost 20 years, CARS has successfully raised funds for nonprofit organizations with turn-key vehicle donation programs to support their missions. Recently added is a real estate donation program, which will be as easy, seamless and effortless as our car donation program.
As a nonprofit that only serves nonprofits, we understand the culture and recognize that every dollar actually does count. CARS, owned by a 103-year old nonprofit, provides industry leading services and engages every donor with gratitude and respect. It is our promise to provide wise counsel, leadership and add expertise while maintaining the highest degree of integrity, transparency, and to service any IRS recognized nonprofit through a partnership in fundraising.

Charitable Adult Rides & Services
Our History
Founded in San Diego, CA, in 2003 as a means to provide additional funding to the programs and services of Jewish Family Service, CARS soon began accepting vehicle donations to help other nonprofits raise extra revenue. What began as a company of just a few employees accepting around 3 vehicle donations per day, has grown into a well- respected leader in the car donation industry. Today, we are partnered with thousands of nonprofits with the vision of expanding our fundraising efforts so that we can continue to provide additional revenue to these amazing nonprofit organizations. CARS' success to date stems from our dedication to exceptional customer service, our ability to maximize each donation, and the extensive marketing content we create and distribute to our partners to help promote their programs.
