Region 4 Ethnic Studies Kickoff in-person meeting Saturday, 10/2 all day 9-3pm
In this workshop and community of practice educators will prepare to integrate Ethnic Studies concepts and pedagogies in their Social Science instruction. This work will include understanding the foundations and essential practices of Ethnic Studies, engaging in critical self-reflection as an educator, and centering students and school community when making instructional choices throughout the school year.
Follow-up Virtual Network Meetings 11/18, 1/27, 3/10 3:30-5pm
- Jason Muniz from UC Berkeley will be facilitating all day in-person kick off Ethnic Studies workshop to support educators in integrating Ethnic Studies into their classroom curriculum.
- Jason Muniz will be facilitating the follow up network meetings from 3:30-5pm virtually on 11/18, 1/27, 3/10
