Welcome to my site. I am a psychotherapist and writer based in Brooklyn, NY, where I work with adults and couples.

Since the pandemic started, I have been seeing people over Zoom (a secure, HIPAA compliant version) which works surprisingly well.

My approach: I believe we all have the potential to change and grow into better, more satisfied versions of our selves. My goal is to help you identify how you want to live and the blocks that are preventing you from getting there. My approach is interactive and spacious: I create a judgment-free zone in which you can explore the issues that are causing you stress, unhappiness or frustration.

My training: I studied interpersonal psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the William Alanson White Institute and couples therapy through the Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy. I received my Master of Social Work degree from New York University, where I was a member of the Phi Alpha honor society. I graduated magna cum laude from Hamilton College with a major in psychology and a minor in dance.

My writing: I have worked as a writer and editor at national magazines and newspapers, including Real Simple and Money, and continue to write about psychological well being for media outlets including The New York Times and Medium. My writing greatly informs my work with individuals and couples—I am always considering how the real world influences our mental health. You can read more of my work here.
