    is coming up. Our Troopers will be focusing dangerous driver behaviors. All drivers should always and be responsible when sharing the roadway with each other. This includes never driving impaired or distracted!

    is July 11-17. Enforcement personnel will be tracking dangerous driver behaviors such as speeding, following too closely, improper lane change, failure to obey traffic control devices, evidence of drunk or drugged driving, etc.

    Stopped this delivery vehicle in this morning. Vehicle placed OOS due to a contaminated brake rotor, movement in the centre hanger bearing, a loose bearing strap bolt and movement in opposing yoke ends on the driveshaft. Drivers make sure to do a every day ! ^DB

    Observation was made by officer in the area of apparent overweight, after inspection cmv was 12,450kgs over allowable, 1st axle L/S cracked main leaf spring, steering box loose, 4 out 8 brakes out of adjustment removed .

    Results from today’s event in Ogallala. Four vehicles and one driver was placed Out of Service but 6 vehicles received decals indicating no critical violations! Great work to the owners and drivers of those 6 vehicles who have placed safety as a priority!

    At the event in Lincoln last week we completed 45 Inspections with 198 total violations. 18 Decals were issued indicating ! Of the 198 violations 45 were Out Of Service (OOS) and 4 Drivers were placed OOS.
