I began my journey with OAK in 2003 with my moms diagnosis. She and I attended survivor and caregiver support groups, volunteered as well. I continue my relationship with OAK even after my mom passed. The education OAK provides is the best and always working to reach the community. Awareness is the best until a test!!

OAK is an incredible organization. It not only provides support for those whose lives are closely linked to ovarian cancer but reaches out far beyond that to provide learning opportunities for those in health care and the community at large. They are a small but highly motivated group.

I am an ovarian cancer patient since 2001. In 2006 I began regularly attending the survivors monthly meetings. I feel this group has saved my life! From the information shared at these meetings, I have made good decisions relative to my care and progress with this disease. There is no topic to big or to small to be shared. We are all LIVING with our cancer, and most of us are LIVING WELL thanks to this group.
