You are not alone
All mothers, fathers, and families deserve support during pregnancy and parenthood.
If you, or a loved one, is suffering with perinatal mood disorders, you’ve come to the right place. Contact one of our PSI-MI Support Coordinators, who will help guide you through the process of finding a professional near you with expertise and experience in treating perinatal mood disorders. Whether you are searching for a therapist within your insurance network, a medication prescriber knowledgeable in prescribing during pregnancy and lactation, or looking for a local peer support group, we are here to help.
We do not offer crisis management services. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call 911. For additional safety information, contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255.
Memberships are tax-deductible donations.
Becoming a “Friend of PSI-MI” is free and allows you to attend our PSI-MI meetings, participate in workgroups, and apply for our mini-grant program. We send periodic e-mails to update you about our quarterly meetings and other events. You do not need to be a paid PSI Member to join our “Friends” e-mail list, though there are many additional benefits to joining PSI.
For Friends of PSI Michigan: Mini grants are available for PMAD related projects in communities throughout the state of Michigan. They are supported in partnership with the Healthy Kent PMAD Coalition. Examples of previous grants that were awarded include starting support groups and/or coalitions, developing an awareness campaign, creating websites for PMAD parents, offerings of educational trainings, etc.
