Meet our Board of Directors
Chair
Elizabeth Bojie
Elizabeth Bojie is the mother of 7, including both typically developing and special needs children ranging from early childhood to college. She has a passion for maternal mental health advocacy and awareness. After winning her own battle with PMADs, Elizabeth began to share her journey through essays and articles, finding purpose through helping others realize that they’re not alone.
Since 2009 Elizabeth has helped new moms, experienced moms, teen moms, and single moms as they birthed and brought home a new baby. She is a certified birth and postpartum doula, a certified perinatal mental health professional (PMH-C), and a mentor with the PSI mentor/peer program. Wanting to offer another level of service to her clients and to the overall perinatal community, she is currently earning a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling.
Elizabeth has a vision for bringing tangible and attainable resources to all individuals experiencing PMADs. After personally experiencing pregnancy loss and the feelings of shame and guilt that may arise afterward, she is also aware of the need for pregnancy/infant loss and bereavement support.
Understanding the fear of stigma and judgment, Elizabeth is working to build a community where those affected by PMADs can feel safe to share their struggles and begin their path to winning their own battles. She is honored to be the Chair for PSI Arkansas and is inspired daily as she serves alongside an amazing group of like-minded individuals who have a genuine desire to bring hope. You are not alone.
