Authors

European Journal of Hospital Pharmacy considers unsolicited submissions of a wide range of article types, including original articles, systematic reviews and short reports. Interesting case reports and medicines information queries are also welcomed.
 
The Author Information section provides general guidelines and requirements for specific article types. Information is also provided on editorial policies and open access. All manuscripts should be submitted online.
 
The Editor offers a mentoring programme for first time authors. EJHP also welcomes new peer reviewers.
 
EJHP is indexed in the Science Citation Index, EMBASE, CINAHL and Scopus.

Call for Papers on AMR

EJHP is seeking submissions on selected topics related to Antimicrobial Resistance for a special themed issue, which will be guest edited by Professor Jonathan Cooke from the University of Manchester and Imperial College London, UK.

Any of the journal’s standard article types can be submitted. Submissions must be received no later than 19th July 2021.

EAHP Publications

A number of educational modules for self-assessment are now available online via BMJ Learning. Aimed at hospital pharmacists and based on recordings of satellite events held at the annual European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) Congress, they are free to access and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

EJHP also publishes occasional EAHP position papers on important topics affecting hospital pharmacists. The latest position papers are:

EAHP Learning modules from BMJ

European Journal of Hospital Pharmacy (EJHP) | A BMJ journal |

EJHP is an online journal that publishes innovative research dedicated to improving the practice of hospital pharmacy. Self-assessment modules for hospital pharmacists can be found on BMJ Learning. They are based on recordings of satellite events held at the annual European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) Congress, free to access and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). The events were financially supported by different external organisations but totally independent of industry involvement, with the faculty and the topics selected by the EAHP scientific committee.

To access the modules, you need to complete a one-time registration on BMJ Learning and log in on every visit using their username and password to access modules and your CPD record. Accreditation is only valid for 2 years from the date of publication. Printable CPD certificates are available to users that achieve the minimum pass mark and complete a survey at the end of the course. 1.5-2 ACPE credits will be awarded, depending on the length of the course.
