A student leading a campus tour

Our campus tours are a great opportunity to find out more about life at our South Kensington Campus – big enough to house some fantastic facilities, but not so big you will feel lost in the crowd.

You'll be guided around our South Kensington Campus by a current student so it's also a chance to quiz them about their own Imperial study experience.

These tours are for individual visitors and their guests. If you're interested in visits for schools, please see our Campus visits for school groups page.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

In order to keep our staff and visitors safe due to COVID-19, the tours will not include going into buildings.

Tours will take place in outdoor spaces for the time being. This will be reviewed on a regular basis.

About our guided tours

Our guided tours are led by current students. The tour is conducted in English so to make the most of it, we recommend that you have an intermediate level of English as we're unfortunately not able to provide translators.

About our guided tours

When are the tours?

Our tours run most weeks on Wednesdays at 15.00.

They are currently booked up for the foreseeable future - please check back here again.

You can also join our mailing list to receive updates.

What's covered on the tour?

You'll be shown around the main highlights of our South Kensington campus including the Imperial College Union, the Ethos Sports Centre and the Central Library.

There will be plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions about our facilities and campus life on the tour.

How long do our tours last?

Each tour lasts one hour and starts and ends at the College main reception on Exhibition Road.

Your student guide will meet you at the reception and answer any questions you may have afterwards.

Can I visit a department on the tour?

This is a general tour of the campus and does not include visits to individual departments.

However, if you contact the relevant department in advance they may be able to welcome you outside this tour.
