Report a Donation of Securities to Our Top Charities
Thanks for your interest in donating to GiveWell's top charities ! Please use this form to report a donation of securities to GiveWell's E*Trade account. Although it is not necessary for you to fill out the form in order to send a donation of securities, doing so will allow you to determine how we allocate the funds you send, help us communicate with you in the future, and allow us to better track our impact. Donations received without an accompanying donation form submission will be treated as an unrestricted donation, which we may choose to either use for operating expenses (most likely) or our Maximum Impact Fund. Recommended Allocation
We recommend that donors give to the Maximum Impact Fund, so that we can put the funds toward the highest priority needs of our top charities. We grant the funds donors contribute to the Maximum Impact Fund once a quarter, and we publish information about how we've previously made these grants to our recommended charities here More details in this post.

Will my donation be tax-deductible? GiveWell (a.k.a. The Clear Fund) is a US federally-recognized tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization and a registered public benefit organization (ANBI) in The Netherlands. US and Dutch donors are able to take tax deductions for donations to GiveWell to the extent permitted by law.
