NCOE Early Childhood Services oversees a wide variety of programs serving young children and families. These programs focus on children from low-income families to help them receive early education and preparation for entrance into public school, childcare and development services to assist families on their road to self-sufficiency. Additionally, the department provides Special Education Services for children 3-5 years of age and families.
The areas of expertise within Early Childhood Services include: California State Preschool Program, Napa Infant Preschool Program, Early Childhood Special Education, Quality Rating Improvement System Block Grants (Quality Counts Napa County), and Napa County Childcare Planning and Development Council.
NCOE Early Childhood Service provides child care and development services for Napa County families. The following programs are available through Early Childhood Services to assist families in obtaining quality childcare and to assist programs in providing that care:
