Hawkeye came to give our group a presentation covering how to set up and work a booth at to the home show that our non-profit was going to attend. His presentation was excellent, very insightful, and I learned a lot! He is a very engaging speaker who keeps your attention, makes it fun while learning, and has you participate as an audience member. I really enjoyed how he on top of sharing a wealth of information, he also tailored information to our needs. We implemented his ideas at the show and they worked! I highly recommend Hawkeye and his organization! Thank you!

I invited Hawkeye to give a course for the University of Arizona's Green Valley OLLI, an organization that strives to keep people over the age of 50 learning and engaging their brains. He gave us two 90 minute lectures, one a week. No one missed the second class! Everyone was attentive and everyone thought it was one of the best classes of the term.
Hawkey's presentation was fun and informative. Many class members want him to give another class soon. Even "Far Exceeds Expectations" doesn't adequately describe the presentation. Thank you Hawkeye!

Hawkeye Richardson came in this past Tuesday to speak to the Eller Professional Sales Club at the University of Arizona. As acting president of the Eller Professional Sales Club I can confidently say that Hawkeyes presentation was one of the best we have had. He was extremely prepared and kept everyones attention throughout his entire presentation, providing the members of the club with handouts, and interacting with them individually. Hawkeye really exceeded our expectations and we are planning on having him come in to speak again in the near future.

I had the pleasure of being entertained and enlightened about How to Effectively Work a Booth by Hawkeye Richardson at a Greater Vail Chamber "Lunch & Learn." Being a Business Development professional for the past 10 years I was interested in learning some new tricks in working an event booth. Hawkeye had some great ideas for changing up what I currently do and offered positive confirmation for practices I already have in place.

Take-aways were "less is more" for table displays, have a strategy and goal before working the event, and how to productively interact with event attendees.

Hawkeye's presentation is well-worth an investment of your time because he is candid, knowledgeable, insightful, provides YOU information based on HIS experiences, and has a great sense of humor!

Hawkeye spoke to our young non profit on How to Communicate and Connect More Effectively Working a Booth. We do a lot of public events and our enthusiastic volunteers usually have no prior experience.

He did a great job, giving them lots of information while keeping them engaged. Not an easy task in a group as diverse as this. Multiple people have contacted me to tell me how much more they understand our goals and how to achieve them. They also felt the skills they learned will be applicable in many other areas of their lives.

Hawkeye is a knowledgeable, engaging speaker, dispensing knowledge while keeping the audience involved. I would highly recommend him.

Hawkeye Richardson recently educated our audience in the area of unconscious biases at our HR Compliance Connections event at The University of Arizona. Our audience consisted of varying level of human resources professionals. His subject matter was very relevant to the audience and could easily translate to a variety of audiences. He employed a high level of audience participation and energized the crowd. He is very personable and I would highly recommend him for other speaking engagements.

I recently attended Pre-Employment Job Fair Seminars for people with disabilities. I was most impressed by the presentation by Hawkeye Richardson “Putting Your Best ‘YOU’ Forward at a Job Fair or Interview”. His sense of humor and directness was very helpful for about 180 job seekers with disabilities. I learn a lot and would like to hear more from this presenter.
His has amazing way of presenting important tips for our success took away the panic the most of us share. All others that I had talked with loved it!

Hawkeye is amazing! We are in awe of his gift to effectively engage our large and diverse group of managers. He presented 'Communication and Connecting with Full Intention' at our annual leadership workshop. He speech was thought provoking and it provided valuable information to assist us in building more productive relationships in our workforce. Given the era of less face to face connecting, this message is relevant in order to create a thriving organization. We need more Hawkeyes in this world!

My husband and I were fortunate to have been given the opportunity to experience one of Hawkeye Richardson’s presentations. He was engaging and thought provoking. We walked away feeling as if we had gained valuable knowledge that we could apply to our lives. He spoke of “being in the moment.” A simple concept, but one that many of us take little time to think about. Hawkeye conveyed his message with enthusiasm and passion and made the evening enjoyable.

I recently invited Hawkeye Richardson to present at the Direct Connect Job Club at the Pima County One-Stop in Tucson. He presented "Putting Your Best 'You' Forward" a carefully taylored presentation for an audience of 17 Job Seekers. His presentation was informative and motivational. There was continuous interaction with the job seekers and he was more than willing to share his expertise with them. The feedback from job seekers that attended was all positive and very much appreciated. Attendees said they learned a lot of new and powerfull tools they can apply, not only to their job search, but to their personal lives. Thank you Hawkeye for an amazing morning and for your partnership with the Pima County One-Stop. Rosemary Smith PHR; CWDP

I have sat in on two presentations with Hawkeye, as well as met with him one-on-one and he is very good at what he does. He really knows what he is talking about, is passionate about what he does, believes in what he is trying to convey and he really is trying to make a difference. He really knows his stuff!

I recently participated in a "Tell me a Story" event in Tucson, AZ with Hawkeye Richardson which was a wonderful experience. The point of the evening was to have a memorable "experience". We are all running around so frenetically and on auto-pilot that it almost feels like life is passing us by, or we are somehow missing it as the days keep disappearing.

Hawkeye brings our attention to the present moment with fun, relateable examples and memorable little experiences. He has great presence and holds the room to bring our attention to "intention" - to live and act with more Intention. Rather than allowing distractions to rule us, he offers tools to call our conscious mind to the forefront as often as possible. This is a choice that we can make more often, especially with ever-present electronic devices.

Hawkeye illustrates and makes us think about the disconnect between the conscious and subconscious mind to make a difference in daily interactions, to interact with "Intention". We can call our conscious mind to awareness in a split second to be present in our own lives, and not feel like it is passing us by.
An 'action' exercise concluded the evening to make the intangible ideas - Real! Thank-you!

Hawkeye Richardson is a dynamic speaker. I've had him speak to two different groups and he tailors his presentation to fit the needs of the audience. He has great tips and tricks for communicating with intention. After every presentation he has always been interested in what I thought and wanted to know if there were any ways he could improve. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish!

My husband and I attended an hour presentation by Hawkeye at the lovely Splendido retirement community. In an hour he was able to clearly convey the essence of conscious awareness to help shift habits and enhance communications. Hawkeye uses humor to keep the mood light which is an asset to learning. It was an enriching and fun experience! Thank you, Linda and Alex.

Hawkeye held a lunch seminar for the Greater Vail Chamber of Commerce on April 29, 2014 (our first seminar!) It was a wonderful learning session as well as entertaining and engaging. The attendees were very attentive and asked a lot of questions. Everyone left feeling like their communication skills moved up a couple notches and they were all excited to go out and network to try their new skills. I went to a mixer the following evening and there were 3 or 4 people that were actively trying their new skills. I recommend Hawkeye to anyone looking to better their communication skills.

Hawkeye Richardson, of Tell Me A Good Story, attended a meeting for the Eller Sales Club at University of Arizona and by the end of his presentation, had every member blown away by the information received. I was especially intrigued and immediately set up a time to learn more about how to better communicate with others. During our meeting, he me gave an eye-opening lesson about paying conscious intention to our daily activities and the people around us. I was fascinated with how truly important this skill is to have in both business and social settings, and loved how he was so passionate and willing to help. I definitely recommend that people of all ages should be exposed to this information, and hope to see Hawkeye present more at the U of A.

Hawkeye Richardson of Tell Me A Good Story held a seminar today with many interesting techniques to enhance our abilities to communicate with intention. His depth of research has led to a well received command of the principles of intention. Throughout the seminar it was obvious that Hawkeye will be well sought after as a speaker for this highly motivational topic that is essential for all effective communications worldwide. I suggest to anyone seeking a motivational speaker who will address communication in business, classroom and politics to schedule him quickly. EC Hackley

Hawkeye Richardson from Tell Me a Good Story was invited to speak at a meeting I led for individuals who are unemployed or underemployed. Hawkeye wowed the audience with great feedback about their personal introductions as well as provided inspiration for communicating more effectively in his presentation. He offered sound, practical advice and easy to learn and use techniques for improving the 'connection' with those whom one might be speaking.

Enthusiastically, I would recommend Mr. Richardson, his organization, Tell Me a Good Story, and their book, Communicating and Connecting with Full Intention.

Hawkeye Richardson delivered a most professional and inspiring workshop- one of the best I have ever attended. He is humorous, insightful and the group all left with so many specific and exciting ideas for relating to others, increasing self awareness and esteem, and getting organized to go forth and prosper!

He is outstanding, and any group would be well served to have him - he is a real treasure of Tucson and a really special person! It was an inspired presentation.

Everyone has a story. Learning to communicate that story to others is what makes people interesting. Learning to do this at an early age makes youngsters confident when they're interacting with others - young and old. Learning as adults rekindles abilities we've taken for granted. This organization makes us aware of how we present ourselves to others and how well we listen when they present themselves to us.
I've had a "phone" based business for almost 20 years. Communication is extremely important to the success of my company. I consider voice inflection when speaking similar to the concept of body language when you're face to face with a person. Taking the time to not only listen to a client, but also listen to the way he is speaking, gives me the foundation to provide the excellent and correct services.

Hawkeye Richardson, representing "Tell Me a Good Story", presenting a compelling 1 1/2 workshop for the National Association of Women Business Owner's, Tucson Chapter. The time did not drag, we all were participants busily learning and practicing to "tell" or "listen" to a good story with INTENTION. It was fun!

The executive director of Tell Me A Good Story, Mr. Richardson, exudes the perfect example of listening intentionally and how this practice can literally change lives and relationships.
Mr. Richardson graciously presented his talk to members of my work unit. The members were both amazed and astounded at the simplicity of his explanations and yet how profoundly it could improve their communication skills. While I can't speak for others, I know that I personally am putting his suggestions into practice and have already noted the improved interactions between my family members and co-workers.

Tell Me a Good Story provides vital, connective resources for our community at large. Through story, conversation, and interaction- TMGS is strengthening emotional and mental well being of not just the aging population, but people from all stages and walks of life.

As a festival organizer at The Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance, I've had the pleasure of working alongside Hawkeye Richardson and Tell Me a Good Story on numerous occasions, and I can truly say, they are on to something very special. In this day and age, it is a breath of fresh air to see an organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of "hands-on show and tell". The benefits of such interaction are far-reaching, and Tell Me A Good Story does a superb job in capturing the urgency of this art-form.

Tell Me A Good Story is unlike any other nonprofit I have heard of, and I have worked with a number of them over the past decade. Their mission is one that inspires creativity and brings out the kid in all of us, through Hands-On-Show and Tell, and also teaches practical skills that we can all apply in our work and personal lives. Through Tell Me A Good Story classes, we can learn to communicate and connect more effectively, face-to-face, with full intention. Even the antique books they sell as a fundraiser are fascinating and come with their own histories, stories about the books themselves. Hawkeye is clearly passionate about his work, and is a skilled presenter and teacher who enjoys helping others learn information and skills that can help them in their own lives.

Tell Me A Good Story, under the leadership of its executive director, Hawkeye Richardson, is well-organized and well-positioned to act on its mission to show individuals the benefits of intention in face-to-face communication. Hawkeye has nurtured this organization from its inception, carefully planning its activities and leading the organization toward one that ‘practices what it teaches.’ I am especially glad to be a part of an organization where I am directly experiencing the benefits of intention and connection.

I am a passionate reader. It has been my anti stress device throughout my life starting very young. I go nowhere without a book. I am very pleased to help with this nonprofit organization. I live in the Midwest and am always looking at old or special books at shops, fairs, and antique shops. I have donated several books to the organization and intend to send more as I find them. The art of telling a story has been lost and there are not many ways of getting it back. I wish them luck with their endeavor.

I am an artist and art instructor. My main goal is to teach my students how to observe. After learning how to view a subject and pay attention of what is actually there, the students soon become able to be accurate in their artwork and able to critique their own work. What I teach is for the few who want to be artists or to become better artists. At “Tell Me a Good Story”, Hawkeye’s outreach goes much further by teaching communication skills. He knows how to communicate and is enthusiastic to teach the skills of storytelling one on one and speaking to groups. His “Hands-On Show & Tell” is ingenious in helping others to communicate with confidence. His shared insight on how we and others speak and listen makes communication enjoyable.

I recently attended a seminar a business networking luncheon given by Mr. Richardson about the potential effectiveness of storytelling in marketing. The presentation took what sounded like a commonsense subject from the title and turned it on its ear — it was full of perspective shifting tips and well-thought-out advice. I found the talking points extremely useful and would recommend it to any business owner with a desire to speak more freshly and succinctly about what they do.

This organization is doing a wonderful job of promoting literacy in the community. Mr. Richardson collected hundreds of books to share with our students and parents and delivered them to the school. We shared the books with students during Love of Reading week and with students and parents at our year end Ice Cream Social. Thank you for helping to put books in the hands of our families! Comments received from parents:
"I'm glad to see that you enjoy spreading the knowledge of reading. Thanks for the free books!" S.M.
"Books are my best friends and I am donig my best to instill this in my kids. Thanks for helping me with the free books." G.

Hawkeye Richardson is a true believer in his mission to help people understand the importance of "face-to-face" communication through learning to tell a their story. I have volunteered on a few occasions to help Hawkeye with some book sales and to increase his inventory of books, many of which he donates to needy organizations. I am particularly fond of the hundreds of books (maybe thousands) to the Southern Arizona Veterans Medical Center where I am an occasional patient.

I know Hawkeye to be committed to working with people of all ages and abilities to increase their communication skills. Everything he does is ethically and professionally to the highest standards. I support this organization because as a retired teacher and school administrator, I understand the need in the community.

I think this is a terrific idea and organization. As a volunteer I have seen children's interest sparked by the books on display for them, especially the older books from generations before them. These books have been rescued from destruction, and delivered into the hands of a new and appreciative reader. The books donated to public schools and veteran organizations have surely achieved the same results. In addition, the director is very knowledgeable and amiable, always available to assist, instruct, lecture, inspire or whatever is required when interacting with people he encounters while operating this organization. Like I said, I think it's terrific.

Tell Me A Good Story has a very innovative and fresh approach to education through the use of story-telling. Everyone (no matter their age) loves a GOOD story - it captures not only the person's attention, but draws on their imagination and emotions while sometimes opening whole new worlds of ideas and enrichment - and Mr. Richardson is a true master of the art. I support this non-profit whole-heartedly for its dedication and devotion to its mission.

I support the mission of this non-profit because I understand that story-telling is an important communication skill. A good story connects you or your business to a person's emotions. Emotions drive our decisions and our actions. A person is more likely to buy something if they can connect to it on an emotional level. I once bought an expensive pair of shoes because they were a "work of art". They made me feel good.
The skill of story telling is good for your brain too. We remember things that have a good story line, which trigger an emotion... and we tuck them away in long term memory.
