SYSTEM Coalition is really a different type of organization than many that you see. They are filled with business professionals that use their many industry connections to provide innovative STEM education opportunities and connect students to role models. Because they are an all volunteer organization they are able to stretch their dollars further to maximize impact on students from all local communities. The organization is very flexible to adapt to new ideas from volunteers and to accommodate needs of local schools and communities. I highly recommend partnering with this organization.

System Coalition has been the best volunteering experience of my life. Their mission is the prime example of “teach someone to fish rather then give them a fish”. As someone from a low income background I wish I would’ve known about this program during my high school years. I love working with children and I love engineering. This program has truly been a blessing to me (particularly in times of pandemic). I just hope I get to be a part of the great things System Coalition is going to keep doing.
S.Y.STEM Coalition has been an incredibly positive experience in the last two and a half years that I have been involved with the org. The events across the community that S.Y.STEM actively contributes to enriches students' interest in STEM and introduces them to professional STEM careers.
As the Events lead in Tucson, I have been able to see first hand the curiosity that S.Y.STEM sparks in students through STEM based experiments. S.Y.STEM also has a great relationship with the local community as it works together with the community in steering youth to STEM.

I started working with S.Y.STEM Coalition in early 2020, and I have been so impressed with not only the type of activities & curriculum the program has created and put on, but also with how quickly they were able to pivot these activities to be remote. Now more than ever it's critical to make sure we are reaching kids, while they are stuck at home. With S.Y.STEM Coalition's Virtual Camp, and interactive social media - they've been able to do just that. Truly a great organization!!
S.Y.STEM Coalition has been an empowering experience, both to the children it reaches and to the volunteers who create the programs for the children. S.Y.STEM Coalition's mission drives towards connecting kids to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical (STEM) careers in hopes for themselves to see the future possibilities of their own careers one day. As a member of this organization, I've witnessed firsthand the effects of the hard work its volunteers who put into making the best experience for so many diverse children, especially those in underprivileged environments. I've had the privilege of working with its high school entrepreneur program called Junior Shark Tank, camps and workshops, public events, and internship experience. My co-volunteers have expressed how powerful our work is and how they are proud to be part of a selfless organization that cares about the next generation.
I love working with S.Y.STEM Coalition! They have a strong mission and an extremely professional and dedicated team to carry it out. With the changing educational landscape, S.Y.STEM has quickly shifted in adapting their programs to reach students virtually and continue providing STEM experiences to kids nationwide.
This nonprofit organization is always working with the community either with there free sciences day or classroom visits. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they are always willing to answer any questions you may have about the organization. This a great group to volunteer for.
I had the opportunity to help and contribute to SYSTEM Coalition, they are doing a great job teaching kids about science and technology. Their contribution to the community is invaluable and the kids that have the chance to participate of SYSTEM Coalition events are acquiring knowledge, tools and skills that have all the potential to inspire and motivate them to learn more and remain curious.

I had the pleasure of working with this organization on a couple of events and I can say for a fact that I have not met a more enthusiastic and motivated group of people in Tucson working to get kids excited about STEM. I saw students that said they hated math playing math games and enjoying them and learning from it. The S.Y.STEM Coalition team is really doing an amazing job.
As a member of S.Y.STEM Coalition, I highly recommend this non-profit for volunteers who are interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) or are STEM professionals of any sort. We are a force in Tucson showing kids the exciting careers and future they can look forward to in the worlds of math and science. We are a unique STEM non-profit that works with Raytheon and other STEM companies in Tucson for our fun, enjoyable events for the kids.
S.Y.Stem Coalition is different than most STEM organizations I've seen. This is the first organization that is actively trying to get businesses and students involved from the community they live in to create a strong connection through STEM activities. S.Y.Stem Coalition has fostered science day events to give kids an interactive learning of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics all taught by volunteers from the local industry and collegiate community. Robotic camps have been created to get kids to learn early about how robots are used, what it takes to create robots, and they get to build a robot themselves! I am excited to see what else S.Y.Stem Coalition will bring to the Tucson community.
I have had the great pleasure of working with this organization's excellent professionals. Not only is this organization made up of busy STEM professionals that utilize their free time to provide exposure to STEM careers, their mission is right on target. This organization creates a strong conduit between local industry and the students that will one day join our professional ranks.
Businesses, such as my own, benefit from a multitude of avenues for community exposure and brand recognition. Students benefit from exposure to technologies and subjects they would not have otherwise had an opportunity to experience.

This organization is awesome! Their staff is fully committed to helping Tucson create a stronger community in the STEM field. This will definitely help Tucson's students thrive and become interested in pursuing a STEM career.
They also hold many different events, like the Science Day where STEM professionals/college students perform simple experiments in front of the kids. They are all really fun! I encourage you to volunteer at one of their events!
