- Create your own group. You could call it something like ‘Smita’s pregnancy’ or ‘My journey to motherhood’. Please file your group in ‘My pregnancy journal’.
- Treat a new post in your group just like a new page in your diary. You could start a weekly post, for example "My pregnancy: week 12". Or a daily post like "Countdown to my baby's birth: 100 days to go", "99 days to go" and so on.
- Invite your family and friends to join your group so they can follow your journal. Its a great way to include all your loved ones and share these special nine months with them.
Your pregnancy journal is a great way to preserve these special nine months. Here are a few things you can do with it:
- You might like to write about how you’re feeling or record your thoughts and emotions. There may be days when you are excited, others when you are just tired or even a bit scared. It will be great for you to look back once you are holding your precious little bundle and see how the nine months have prepared you emotionally, physically and mentally to become a mother.
- Your journal is also a great place to keep a track of those wonderful pregnancy moments such as when you heard your baby's heartbeat for the first time, when you saw your baby during a scan or when you felt your baby move for the very first time!
- You can even use your journal to keep a track of your doctor appointments, your pregnancy weight gain, diet and fitness plans, baby movements or your birth plan.
- You can also make a list of your favourite baby names and ask friends and family for suggestions or their vote.
- You and your husband can even use this journal to pen down a few words for your little one.
- And that's not all...you can personalise your group with your favourite photos, videos and tickers.
