COA Sponsoring Organizations are separately incorporated, nonprofit national membership bodies comprised of organizations that provide services that are accredited by COA.
Each Sponsoring Organization is represented on COA’s Sponsor Advisory Council (SAC), which provides feedback on COA’s standards and processes. The SAC also holds five seats on COA’s Board of Trustees.
Note: Members of Sponsoring Organizations receive a 25% discount on the accreditation fee for COA’s private, public, and home study accreditation processes!

The Family Focused Treatment Association (FFTA) strengthens agencies that support families caring for vulnerable children. FFTA is an agency-led organization of treatment foster care providers, established in 1988 with an initial purpose of defining and refining Treatment Foster Care practices. The Association’s membership is composed of agencies throughout North America that currently operate treatment foster care programs. Organizations that are not direct service providers, but have an interest in the field, hold affiliate membership status. FFTA is assisted by recognized researchers and policy-makers in the fields of child welfare and mental health.

The Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies was formed in May 2017 when the two leading Jewish services associations – the Association of Jewish Family and Children’s Agencies (AJFCA) and the International Association of Jewish Vocational Services (IAJVS) – joined forces. The Network is an international membership association of more than 140 nonprofit human service agencies in the United States, Canada and Israel. Its members provide a full range of human services for the Jewish community and beyond, including healthcare, career, employment and mental health services, as well as programs for youth, families and seniors, Holocaust survivors, immigrants and refugees, persons with disabilities and caregivers.
