Napa Valley College staff development, under the coordination of the Teaching and Learning Center, offers faculty, staff and administrators activities and resources for professional development.
What we do
The Teaching and Learning Center staff coordinates a comprehensive program of individual and institutional professional growth, with responsibility for planning, promoting, and disseminating information and program evaluation. Activities include:
- Flex Day Planning
- On-going Instructional Skills Workshops/Trainings
- New Faculty Learning Communities
- Technology Training
Requesting Professional Development
The purpose of professional development is to provide opportunities for faculty and staff to increase their knowledge and skills and to improve teaching, student learning, and student success.
