Beginner to Intermediate Courses
(Level 1, 2)
Being able to handle a powerboat or RIB is a great skill for anyone wanting to work on the water, or go on longer distance day trips. Learn how to control the engine safely at high and low speeds on an open powered craft, taking in basic theory such as tides, signs and rules of the road.
Intermediate to Advanced Courses
Building on your previous RYA courses, or from your own on the water experience, you’ll build on your skills and knowledge learning more about navigation, how to plot charts and plan passages. As you reach an advance level you’ll more about taking charge as skipper as well as driving at night.
Specialist courses (Safety Boat and Tender Operator)
These courses are aimed at anyone wanting to become commercially endorsed for work. Safety Boat is also useful for those in a racing or training environment, focusing on recovery techniques and managing fleets. Tender Operator is great for anyone entering the superyacht industry, focusing on passenger safety and comfort.
