Your RYA website account

Your RYA website account allows you to use various services such as our web shop and online exam payment service. It also gives you access to some restricted areas of the website, depending on your membership or qualification status.

To make full use of your account, it should be connected to your RYA membership and any qualifications you hold.

How to...

Create an account

If you don't already have an account, go to www.rya.org.uk/go/signup and enter your email address.

If your email address is recognised you will be prompted to enter a few details about yourself and to create your password.

If your email address is not recognised you will be prompted to enter your RYA membership/reference number and date of birth so we can match your email address with your RYA record and any qualifications that you may hold. You will then be asked to enter a few details about yourself and to create a password.

Once you've completed your details, select 'Register' and you will be automatically signed in to the website.

Connect your account to your membership or qualifications

To make sure you can access everything you are entitled to on our website, please make sure it is connected to your RYA membership/reference number. To check this, sign in, select 'Your Account' and then 'Edit Profile'.

In your profile, if you see your membership/reference number and your membership status, your account is already connected.

If the account is not already connected you will see the option to 'Connect your RYA Account'. Simply enter your membership/reference number and date of birth.

Reset your password

If you can't remember your password, simply select the 'Forgotten your password?' link on the Sign In page. Enter your email address and select 'Reset password'. If your email address is recognised, a new password will then be emailed to you. Check your spam/junk folder if the email doesn't arrive.

If the email address that you enter is not recognised it probably means that you used a different email when you registered the account. If you can remember what that might be, simply try again to reset the password using that different email. If you can't remember an alternative email address, please contact web.support@rya.org.uk for further assistance, giving your name and RYA membership/reference number if you have one.

Choose which emails to receive

Simply go to www.rya.org.uk/go/emails, enter your email address and select which newsletters you would like to receive. 

Change your details

If you would like to change any of the details we hold for you, for example an address or email, then once logged in visit the 'edit profile' section where you can edit your details and select 'Update profile' to confirm.
