How does setting up a PIN work?
When making a payment with Facebook Pay, you may see an opportunity to set up a PIN (or use the biometrics on your device) by selecting a 4-digit numeric pass code. You’ll have the option to tap in your PIN prior to payments.
Once your PIN or biometric is set up, you can make its entry a requirement for sending money or making payments by going to facebook.com/settings and clicking “Facebook Pay” and “Settings.” As part of our commitment to security, we may automatically require PIN verification when initiating certain types of transactions that might appear as unusual activity.
