An organisation is eligible to apply for affiliation to the RYA if it is interested in furthering the objects of the RYA.

Types of Membership for ‘not for profit’ organisations
- Affiliated Club
- Affiliated Class Association
- Affiliated Organisation such as: Associations of Affiliated Clubs, Berth Holder Associations, Charitable Organisations other than clubs, Regatta Committees, Other organisations.
If you are involved in running an organisation that wishes to affiliate to the RYA, please complete the form available from the Downloads section (on the right) and return it to the RYA Member Services team.
Please be advised the affiliation process takes approximately 2 to 3 weeks from receipt of the application.

The annual costs of affiliating to the RYA are explained on the RYA Affiliation fees page.
Affiliation fees are reviewed regularly, normally annually, and any increases in the rates are notified on this website and in our e-newsletter Club Room.
Restricted Affiliation
Organisations that carry on business on a commercial basis will normally be offered ‘Restricted Affiliation’ (Associate Membership) Please use the ‘Application for Restricted Affiliation Form’.

Existing Affiliates
If your organisation is already affiliated to the RYA, you will receive notification of your renewal each December along with an invoice depending on your charging method.
This is also the time to check all the details that we hold on your organisation, and update any that have changed or are missing.
