Great to handle, decent battery life, decent pressure. However, I'm not sure how, but after using the pointy tip on myself, I found that several spots in arm and back had been skinned. It is painful now, and I imagine it will be until the skin grows back. I will contact the manufacturer.
UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer who explained that I must have used the cone tip at an angle. So, do not use on self. I wish that I would have seen a warning, but I believe there is none. They were gracious enough to send me a complimentary roller, and a dual tip head.

I ordered two of these. I ended up sending one back and it took over a month of nearly daily emails before they finally issued the refund. They claimed all sorts of issues as to why they couldn't refund my money even though the device had been delivered to their locations weeks earlier.

For the one I actually kept a few months in the dampener broke. It didn't just break a little it absolutely broke apart and left black foam literally all over my bed. It was a huge mess. I reached out to Therabody support again to get help with this warranty issue. They refused to help, claimed that attachments only have a warranty of 30 days and should be replaced every 60-90 days no matter what. So this dampener is $20 on their site and has to be replaced every two months. No where do they display the short life expectancy of these devices. To top it all off they claimed they couldn't find record of my orders which is laughable since I sent them so many email about the return of one of them. I do not recommend this company at all.

As an avid pilates and yoga trainee I've always been told about the benefits of percussive therapy and many talked about what a quality product Theragun is and so I finally caved and got one for myself and I am SO impressed! I've struggled with tension in my back and neck for years and after a few uses of the Theragun Elite I am blown away. The device is not only SO QUIET but it was able to really release the tension in my neck that has built up from staring at a computer screen all day. From the second I opened the box I could tell this was a high quality product, I love the carrying case that helps keep everything in one spot and allows me to travel with the device if I'd like. 10/10 I would recommend this, even if you don't suffer from any regular tension or pain I am finding that I now use it on my quads after working out, my muscles quite literally melt it's that soothing!

Best In-Person Massage Alternative

This thing is a life saver! Before COVID forced us to stay at home, I used to get regular massages to keep my body in check. With that no longer an option, I had to pivot to something else. The Theragun is the perfect alternative and pays for itself in just a few sessions. I almost prefer it to in-person massages, because I can use it at my own convenience, choosing the right speed and attachment for my muscles. I've been using it every day for workouts and after working a long day at my desk at home. Sitting at a desk all day, my shoulders and neck get very tight, and the Theragun washes away all the pain. For workouts, I'll use it on my legs and arms to loosen and warm me up, as well as using it right after in combination with stretching. I've owned it for over a month now and have no complaints (only happy muscles).

My sister got a knockoff hypervolt for $150 a while back. I was not impressed. It was made of cheap materials, and massage action was weak.
The Theragun Elite puts all the competitors to shame. It comes with 5 attachments, the battery lasts as long or longer than promised, and the massage is STRONG. I had previously used the Prime from the last generation. I was really impressed by how much quieter this one is! In the age of work-from-home, this is pretty much an essential for relieving pains and repetitive stress injuries. It's really relaxing and can immediately feel my range of movement improved after using it.

This has been a life changing purchase for me. I'm a 60 year old woman and I fractured my neck YEARS ago and have had back issues for 10+ years. I ordered this not knowing if it would help, but it has exceeded all my expectations. I use it on my neck and back daily and it's completely helped loosen and soothe tight muscles and knots. I stretch after every use and have even started to get back into yoga because of it. It's easy to use, super sleek looking and comes with a great looking carrying case and multiple nodules to place on the Theragun. So happy with this purchase!

I can't recommend this product enough. It's soo quiet compared to the previous version. I got the G3PRO last year and it did not disappoint. And with this new model, Theragun has out done themselves.

It's so much quieter and I love the app. If you connect your theragun and follow the routines it's like getting treated at one of their mall locations (except I dont have to leave my house!)

I actually suffer from plantar faciatus and they have a routine to follow that not only feels amazing but helps me get over it so much faster.

I've tried hyperice and those vertiball things but they dont compare. The hyperice is pretty weak and I don't notice a difference. And although the vertiball is nice on my back, the Theragun is nice everywhere.

I use mine practically every day. You gotta try the pre-sleep routine, even if you're not about to sleep. You feel so loosened up and relaxed. My wife and I take turns so we can just lay there in bed haha.

For the bordering extortionate price I expected a lot out of this. Does what you would expect with decent results, but the ONE BUTTON on the machine broke and I can't even turn it on. You only had one job Theragun, make sure the one button on the machine works and is quality. What a joke - terrible product. Glad I bought it on Amazon so I can easily just return this garbage. I would recommend avoiding these guys and checking out the alternatives out there.

Massage guns seem to be the latest FAD in fitness, with so many products flooded all over amazon from brands I've never even heard of. After reading external professional reviews this and the Hypervolt came out on top so I decided to take the plunge on the Theragun and never looked back.

For post work out recovery I've never felt better. The app is to be honest a bit useless, but after watching a couple of how to videos it's pretty easy to get the hang of it.
