the california green medal program showcases some of the leading wineries and vineyards that best demonstrates the ability to balance the "3 e's" of sustainability (environmentally sound, socially equitable and economically viable) and excels in each of these areas.
certification, workshops and workbooks make up the other program services. Certification program helps to increase the sustainability of the california wine industry by promoting the adoption of sustainable practices and ensuring continual improvement. Workshops and workbooks educate the winegrowing industry about implimenting conservatin and sustainable best practices.
