    Yesterday, the U.S. Congress approved the adoption of 988, the new 3-digit # for the Nat'l Suicide Prevention Lifeline to be completed by July 2022. In the meantime, pls cont. to share 1-800-273-TALK (8255). 988 is NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE & may not connect callers to the Lifeline.
