There is not enough space here to tell anyone just how incredible United For the People Veterans Transportation is. Jermaine is the most respectful, pleasant human I have met recently. It is always a pleasure to speak to him be it on the phone or as your ride to your appointment. I look forward to seeing him each time. His service to us vets without transportation is a lifeline and a true blessing. Thanks you for being there for us!
I am a Woman Vietnam Veteran and was assisted today by Jarmine who was respectful and courteous. He assisted in providing a ride to the VA Clinic here in Austin. His driving was excellent and I was at ease.
He was concerned about my appointment location and time. He did not pull up to the front door and dump me but walked me to the appropriate appointment center.
He was interested in the other patients in the clinic and was respective of them.
I just got back from the VA in Austin Jermaine is AMAZING... I just moved here from Idaho I don't know my way around my car broke down ( I had a really bad week) I had to go to my dr appt my social worker had heard about United for the People I called the number spoke with Jermaine and he arrived right on time took me to the VA in plenty of time for my appt I called him when I was done and he took me home sooo easy and it was FREE and he was so NICE thank you so much
This organization has reached out to not only help individuals of the veteran community but for the entire community as a whole. I was an individual that ran into some hard times and had no where else to turn and this organization helped me regain my footing. The organization helped me run a fundraiser to assist me with getting my situation back on track.
