I am a computer scientist in networking and operating systems. I have been a Lecturer (Assistant Professor in US terms) in Networked Systems at the School of Informatics of the University of Edinburgh since 2020. Earlier in my career, I was at NEC Labs Europe (2012-2014 & 2016-2019) and NetApp (2014-2016).

My best known work is perhaps identifying TCP extensibility against middlebox interference (IMC’11) and building the first TCP/IP network stack that abstracts persistent memory (HotNets’16 & NSDI’18). Current projects include a software stack for SoC-based accelerator devices (HotStorage’20), content-aware routing for TLS over TCP (NSDI’21), and a couple more.
