Pain Management Program
If you’re experiencing pain from a serious illness, our caring pain management team can help.
Our Pain Management Program is designed to help you reduce and manage the physical symptoms of pain. A clinical nurse specialist (CNS) works with you and your family to address issues and concerns related to pain management. Your CNS and other care providers work together to help you attain your highest level of function with the least amount of pain.
We offer a wide range of pain management services, including:
- Reviewing pain medications and side effects.
- Discussing how your pain impacts your daily life and creating a plan to address the pain.
- Helping you prepare for surgery and postoperative pain management.
- Informing you about community resources, such as multidisciplinary pain management clinics, yoga, acupressure and acupuncture.
The Pain Management Program is supported by donations to El Camino Health Foundation.
