Mission: At REACT our mission is simple, to provide FREE sports related training and social programs for at-risk and underprivileged student athletes.
As an organization we provide student athletes with sports training needed to help increase performance and harvest raw talent. Such training as:
Sport specific training
Strength & Conditioning
Speed & Agility
Beyond the realm of sports we provide a staff of counselors, mentors and coaches for developing structure and maturity; along with life skills and social programming needed to promote education, personal growth and awareness.
Target demographics: at-risk and underprivileged student athletes
Geographic areas served: The Greater Grand Rapids area
Programs: FREE sport related training, camps & clinics, mentoring & coaching, life skills & social programming and counseling.
REACT will be fun and exciting for those who are involved and the student athletes. It will be a great place for student athletes to gain life experience with the mentors, along with gaining skills in their respective sport.
Creating a charitable organization from the ground up takes an enormous amount of raw energy, drive, sacrifice, passion and a purpose-driven heart for serving others. From our initial meeting, the leadership TEAM @ REACT has demonstrated their commitment to creating and implementing a safe-haven for the kids of Grand Rapids and surrounding areas that need our help. With a core mission to impact and improve lives of student-athletes through coaching/mentorship, we can help make a measurable difference in the lives of our Grand Rapids youths. It has been an honor serving on the board of this start up nonprofit organization! It has been so exciting working with the passionate and knowledgeable board members as we begin our journey and start transforming lives of youth all around us!
Great cause serving an underprivileged group in the Grand Rapids area. Everyone on the board is passionate about finalizing this new NFP and fundraising to start providing camps and training to athletes in a well-designed facility.
