The Regional Stay At Home Order will go into effect on December 6 at 10 p.m. See what's allowed and what's not. Stay safe and healthy!
The State is requiring regions that reach 15% ICU capacity to implement a temporary Stay-at-Home Order. Bay Area Health Officers jointly announced that they wi...ll not wait until hospital capacity reaches that critical point and will implement the Orders starting December 6. Lack of ICU capacity means that you and your loved ones may not receive the care you need if you fall seriously ill—with COVID or otherwise. This holiday season, it is absolutely critical that everyone stay at home and not leave for anything other than essential activities.
We’ve flattened the curve before and will do it again.

YOUR ACTIONS SAVE LIVES, COUNTY MOVES TO TAKE PROACTIVE MEASURES: In order to preserve ICU capacity and prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed, Santa Clara County and 5 other Bay Area jurisdictions are expediting the shift to the State’s regional stay at home order, effective Sunday at 10 p.m. through January 4, or longer depending on County conditions. This moves restaurants to takeout only, retail to 20% capacity. As a result, California Avenue, University Avenue and Ramona Street will temporarily reopen to vehicular traffic as of Tuesday, December 8 at 8 a.m. Read today’s special issue Coronavirus Report for the full information. https://bit.ly/39JH0RO
