National Programs
Through its national programs, CDC’s Division of Cancer Prevention and Control works with state health agencies, territories, tribes and tribal organizations, and other key organizations to develop, implement, and promote effective cancer prevention and control practices.
Increases colorectal cancer screening rates among people who are 50 to 75 years old.
Provides low-cost breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services.
Helps programs design and implement plans to prevent and control cancer.
Supports central cancer registries to collect data on cancer occurrence and initial treatment.
