    A Royal Navy Hawk aircraft from 736 Naval Air Squadron crashed this morning during a flight from RNAS Culdrose. Both pilots ejected successfully. This is the first Royal Navy ejection in 18 years with the last being Martin-Baker's 7000th ejection back in 2003.

    Rather touched by this - a recent column of mine in recited in the rather iconic tones of - a series of observations about hedgerows given a new resonance (which these wonderful tenements of biodiversity deserve.)

    Inspired by and his article in about the dying art of hedge laying, I adapted his beautiful words into poetic prose, recorded it and set it to the music of Scott Buckley.

    I've become a tad obsessed with George & Paul's isolated vocals. Once again it's Paul who enhances George's masterpiece in Here Comes the Sun (not blaming John - he was recovering from a car-crash). But this song must of course become our anthem of renewal this summer. 🌥️🌤️☀️

    MPs must vote for this critical amendment. I have friends and family who are suffering greatly. can you help?

    Today will vote on the McPartland-Smith amendment. Huge day for millions of leaseholders facing unbelievable bills for historic fire safety defects. The vote is to make leaseholders pay, but we want those responsible for this crisis to pay
