Kristen Mizzi Angelone is a senior manager with Pew’s dental campaign, where she leads advocacy efforts to improve access to oral health care, work that includes helping to implement dental therapy in states and educational institutions around the country. She also manages partnerships with national organizations that focus on expanding access to care among underserved populations. Previously, Mizzi Angelone served as an officer with the project, overseeing several state legislative campaigns working to add midlevel providers to the dental workforce.
Before joining Pew, Mizzi Angelone had over a decade of experience in state and federal policy and child health advocacy, including positions in the U.S. House of Representatives and with the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame.
