THE UNIQUE PROJECT OF THE RUSSIAN DEFENCE MINISTRY
«MEMORY ROAD» IS INTENDED TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF ALL PARTICIPANTS OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

The grand project of the Central Museum of the Russian Armed Forces will unite tens of millions of photos of war veterans and employees of defence enterprises, partisans and residents of besieged Leningrad, employees of cultural institutions and war correspondents of all who selflessly fought and worked in the ardent years of the Great Patriotic war, defending their native land from the fascist hordes.

All materials and photos collected on the portal will be included in the multimedia gallery «Memory Road», which includes unique exhibits from the storage of the Central Museum of the Armed Forces, which will be shown to the public at large for the first time.
The multimedia Museum will be built on the territory of the Main Temple of the Russian Armed Forces to mark the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.

EVERYONE CAN PARTICIPATE IN A SPECIAL PROJECT
In order for photos and data about participants of the Great Patriotic war to be included in the multimedia Museum's exposition, you only require to upload information materials about them to the «Memory Road» website.
In order to do so, you will need to fill a minimum data in the form on the site: surname, first name, patronymic, year or exact date of birth and photo of the participant of the Great Patriotic war.

All this information will be linked to data already available in the databases of the Russian Ministry Defence. This way the user can view their full list and add to their family archive.

After checking and merging all documents, the user will receive an email with a link to the consolidated record with all the documents attached to it.


If you do not have access to the Internet the information about a war participant can also be sent via nearest military commissariat and by mail:
