We know that ability to listen (& making the time & space to listen) is such an important leadership skill/priority. We don't always do it. So I loved this sketchnote from which frames the importance of listening in such a powerful way.

One thing I love about Twitter is how it opens access to learning from other sectors. This article about scaling change comes from agricultural systems but the advice & conclusions are so relevant to large scale change in health & care: Tx

Many of us have too much to do & too little time. Yet we end up saying yes to bosses, teammates & others. Here's some great advice on saying no in a way that makes people feel respected & saying yes only when we have a clear way forward: Via

Even when we are trying to make big change happen, we should focus on implementing small changes. The tiniest of changes shifts the agenda from talk to action & gives those involved a sense of hope, possibility & the power to change. Graphic:

This made me laugh but it makes an important point: Why are discredited ideas like personality types, teaching to learning styles etc so appealing? Someone described personality type indicators as "astrology for people who don't believe in astrology". Tx

There's such wisdom behind these 12 organisation design principles, based on knowledge/ideas from complexity thinking. Each of these principles is a gem in its own right. Apply them to your own context. Don't be put off by the language: Tx
