    Thank you for the support. Honestly at this stage what we need most is for our healthcare provision to be reinforced. Covid-19 is depleting our resources and that was before this disaster. So is a good place to start. Non-partisan and reliable.

    Updated guidance on reporting of suicide, to reduce imitation. Don’t romanticise or give details of method. And, esp in this pandemic, don’t oversimplify the cause. People’s lives are complex.

    Careful and responsible reporting of suicide can contribute to suicide prevention. Today sees the launch of Samaritans’ new media guidelines and resources to support safer coverage of suicide

    A vaccine will go a long way in the fight against , but it is not a cure. Even with a working vaccine, we still need to take proper precautions, and be diligent about our hygiene and wearing masks in public spaces.
