    A lovely ‘temp’ member of the maternity records team is finishing today. She’s still on the ‘bank’ for the whole of ⁦⁩ so we get to keep her in the family (too shy for a photo though!) ⁦⁩

    Wonderful aspect of ‘rewilding’ is leaving cattle to follow their own birth and herd community practices It works for mammals to avoid intervention unless really needed.

    In 1995, my cousin died in pregnancy. One of the reasons I became a midwife: to find some answers. Over 2 decades after, Black women are still dying in pregnancy and childbirth. The main reason appears to be this: Being Black means one won't be listened to! This must stop!
