KUMY-LD, Channel 22, is the only independently owned TV station in Setx, located in Beaumont, Texas.
The station was launched in the early 2000s and is owned by the Minority Broadcasting Company.
KUMY is not available on local cable but can be seen over the air on channel 22 in the Beaumont area. Their transmitter is in downtown Beaumont on top of the former Petroleum Building. Their antenna is about 200 feet above ground level. The station currently carries NewsNet on 22.1, Bounce TV on 22.3 and Infowars on 22.4.
