    Despite the disappointment of yesterday's vote on the workforce planning amendment, we are pleased that MPs have supported the telemedicine amendment to the . Women requiring an early medical abortion will now retain choice in how & where they receive this care.

    MPs have voted IN FAVOUR OF the telemedical abortion care policy being made permanent (215 ayes – 188 nays). this a big win for us and the future of women’s healthcare!

    was supported by 100+ health organisations, key parliamentarians including former chief execs of the NHS , & current chair . Over 1900 emails were sent from GPs to their MPs. However, this was not enough.

    We need Government to invest in and support general practice to meet patient need for care. This starts with government delivering their promise of 6,000 additional GPs and 26,000 members of the practice team by 2024 as stated in their 2019 manifesto pledge 6/7
