DevOps Engineer

We are searching for people with a strong sysadmin background willing to write software or developers with an understanding of system principles like multitasking and inter process communication.

Some of the responsibilities of the DevOps team include:

  • Building Highly Available systems for our mission critical software;
  • Manage our most critical systems;
  • Developing software in Perl, C and Go;
  • Designing new systems;
  • Building automated systems.

We are expecting the candidates to have some of the following skillset:

  • Linux is mandatory;
  • Bash, Awk, Sed;

You will work closely with our DevOps team on evaluating, enhancing and conducting in-depth penetration testing of our internal and external services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our IT and business units to identify and evaluate security architecture; requirements and help project teams develop appropriate risk mitigation procedures;
  • Conduct information security assessments and perform penetration tests on network, server, and application levels;
  • Maintain and enforce corporate security policies;
  • Manage anti-hack systems;
  • Communicate with security agent software companies to report and resolve issues;
  • Investigate security-related incidents;

Currently, we are looking for an Office Manager of our office in Madrid, Spain.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collecting, verifying and shipping documents related to payroll, invoices, insurances, and other;
  • Working as an intermediary between the Accounting company and the company’s Headquarters in the process of document processing;
  • Working with banks;
  • Preparing reports on costs and payroll in Spain;
  • Researching legal frameworks and guidelines for various accounting and other practices in Spain;
  • Managing cash payments and preparing expense notes;
  • Arranging meetings, video and phone conferences, etc.;
  • Planning, organizing and managing travels, including Business trip orders;
  • Maintaining the office ordered, fully supplied, and in a good condition;
  • Communicating with suppliers and partners;
  • Managing the cleaning company;
  • Supporting all departments with administrative tasks depending on their needs;
  • Assisting in the organization of various company events (there is a lot of celebrating here at SiteGround!)

Our Expectations:

  • Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken);
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word;
  • Precision and accuracy in performance of assigned tasks;
  • Eye for the detail;
  • Previous experience as office manager, administrative assistant or similar;
  • Experience in coordinating business trips abroad.
