    On this, I'm with you . After years of buzzing, went to silent Alpha FC5 Black from . Going strong since 2016, often building large (read: multi-hours on HT i7) packages . Completely silent, fantastic finish and form 🏋️‍♂️

    I was at the conference today and the Linux folks had a Raptor Computing Systems Power 9 systems based on (I think) the Blackbird™ (BK1MB1) mobo. We talked about Gentoo native (Power9) support (it has it) for __float128 and __ibm128 --

    I have my new laptop set up with and a swap LV on top of an encrypted PV partition. After following the ordinary setup routine, hibernate and suspend worked perfectly into the encrypted container with no magic. Props to the team for a seamless init.
