Nancy Lublin
Executive Director

Crisis Text Line is the first nationwide, free, 24/7 text hotline for people in crisis. The organization uses text messaging to help people of all ages overcome difficult moments related to a variety of themes, including suicide, depression, bullying, and LGBTQ issues.

Crisis Text Line provides a text messaging platform that connects trained volunteer crisis counselors to people in need of support. The organization also uses the data generated by the massive amount of messages it processes to create and share insights through the website www.crisistrends.org.

Findings from Crisis Text Line data contribute to the development and improvement of public policies for prevention, treatment, and long-term care of mental illnesses and disorders.
