The Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law (CIPIT) is an academic think tank based at Strathmore Law School in Nairobi, Kenya.

Research at CIPIT addresses emerging issues that have continent-wide impact, and CIPIT training programs cover all areas of IP and IT law for practitioners, government, civil society, and the private sector. Through engagements with research networks in the Global South, contributions to academic literature, and interactions with organizations defining law, policy, and practice, CIPIT is redefining the role of academia in Africa.
