In the words of the Executive Director

India is well and truly into the Digital Era. At CDFI, we have a commitment to fulfil. We want to use technology for social good.

To make it happen, we drive multiple impactful innovations, partnering and supporting various organizations, including Government agencies and start-ups. Our innovations use technology to improve design, drive faster rollout and effectively track large Government programs. Our initiatives include an integrated agribusiness platform for farmers, low cost digitisation and analytics for rural milk collection. as also technology driven funding, planning and execution of rural transformation projects. Other major contributions include a digital platform that has now delivered over Rs 5000 cr benefits for pregnant and lactating mothers and another innovation that sources funds and supports post-flood rehabilitation in Kerala.

In partnership with Govts, we now execute State-wide and district-wide programs that combine mobile and analytics to help achieve outcomes across health, nutrition, education and rural development. We are also helping the National Rural Livelihood Mission ideate and develop the next generation Data Architecture and systems for their nation-wide community-based rural development and livelihood program. We have just successfully designed and executed State-wide and district-wide digital responses to monitor and check the spread of Covid-19 virus.
