However, the Oculus for Business solution, including the enterprise software, enterprise warranty and enterprise support, is not available for either the Oculus Rift S or Oculus Go. What is the difference between consumer edition devices found in retail stores and online, and enterprise edition devices?
+There are no hardware differences between consumer edition and enterprise edition devices. However, consumer edition devices are subject to the consumer Terms of Service (https://www.oculus.com/legal/terms-of-service/) which grant a right to use the software solely for personal and noncommercial purposes, while the enterprise edition devices are subject to the Enterprise Use Agreement (https://business.oculus.com/legal/enterprise-use-agreement/) which grant a right to use the applicable software for commercial purposes in your Commercial Organization. What happens when I switch from the consumer software to the enterprise software or vice versa?
+Your enterprise edition Oculus Quest device will come preloaded with consumer software. Activation of your enterprise software may require a factory reset which will result in the loss of any stored content on the consumer software. If you have an enterprise edition Oculus Quest device running Oculus for Business enterprise software and choose not to renew your subscription to the enterprise software, this may also result in a factory reset and the loss of any stored content.
Can I upgrade to the Oculus for Business solution for my existing devices?

Will I be reminded to renew my Oculus for Business Oculus Quest subscription?
+You will receive a notification to renew your subscription when it is about to expire. If you choose not to renew your subscription, you will lose access to the enterprise software and may lose any stored content, see here.
Can we disable Guardian permanently?
+Yes, your admin has the ability to disable Guardian for any and all devices via the Device Manager. Disabling Guardian is only supported for seated experiences and will default to an average seated height for the user.
Can we engage with a third party developer or independent software vendor (ISV) to develop content?
+Yes. You may engage with a third party developer or ISV or develop your own content for the enterprise software.
What is the Enterprise Use Agreement?

What privacy policy covers my products?
+Enterprise edition Oculus Quest running on enterprise software is subject to the enterprise privacy policy found here.
Devices running on consumer software are subject to the consumer privacy policy found here. This applies to enterprise edition Oculus Rift S and Oculus Go, and any enterprise edition Oculus Quest that is running on consumer software (e.g. following the expiration of your subscription).
Can we use content purchased on the Oculus Store for commercial use?
+The content purchased in the Oculus Store is intended for consumer use. If you would like to use third party content on your Oculus for Business products, you will need to obtain permission from the relevant third party to use their content for commercial or business purposes. Note that there is no Oculus Store available on the Oculus for Business enterprise software.
Can I lease my Oculus for Business devices to third parties?
+You may purchase devices and use them in your own business or for a demo. However, the Enterprise Use Agreement does not permit leasing products to third parties unless you have your personnel present at all times to administer and supervise the third party’s use of your devices. Such supervised rentals are subjected to the additional terms in the Headset Extended Community License at http://business.oculus.com/legal/headset-extended-community-license/. Can I operate an experience that includes co-location features?
+Co-location is when two devices in the same vicinity track each other within the software. The tracking functionality of the Oculus software does not support co-location, and you may not modify the tracking functionality for custom co-location or otherwise.
Why is the minimum age 13?
+Keeping people safe in virtual reality is our top priority. Oculus has provided comprehensive warnings about our products since they were launched, and this now includes Oculus Quest. The warnings advise that our VR products should not be used by children under the age of 13 because online safety experts have landed on 13 as a marker for social online activity generally. We will continue to look at how people use Oculus and how the product develops in making decisions about our product policies.
Is there any way to customize or bypass the Oculus Device Manager Mobile Application, web application, or platform services?
+You may not bypass or override the Oculus Device Manager Mobile Application, web application, or platform services. This includes creating a custom application launcher in kiosk mode that gives users access to multiple applications without returning to the Oculus homepage or creating proprietary interfaces, application programming interfaces, or a third-party application store or marketplace. The only exception to this restriction is that up to 10 of your devices may be in developer mode at any time, which may allow you to bypass certain Oculus platform services if used in accordance with the applicable requirements of developer mode.
Is side-loading content permitted?
+Mass provisioning is only available for devices that are running the Oculus for Business enterprise software.
Devices running the consumer software will only have the option to side-load content.
Do I need a Workplace account?
+If you have an Oculus for Business enterprise edition Oculus Quest device running enterprise software, then your Oculus for Business admin will need a Workplace account subject to the terms at https://www.facebook.com/legal/FB_Work_EnterpriseAgreement.
If your devices are not running Oculus for Business enterprise software, you do not need a Workplace account.
What is Workplace and why am I being asked to create a Workplace account?
+Corporate VR solutions must have a strong security foundation. That’s why we built the Oculus for Business enterprise software solution on the world-class security infrastructure and privacy practices of Workplace by Facebook. This includes strong data center security, 24/7 threat monitoring, layers of encryption, and advanced technologies like machine learning. We’ve also adopted Workplace policies for giving organizations control and ownership of their VR application data. Your Oculus for Business admin will need a Workplace account to administer your Oculus for Business enterprise software solution.
If my business has an existing Workplace account, do we need to create a new one?
+It depends. The enterprise software runs on the premium version of Workplace. If you have the free version, we will upgrade you, at no cost, to the premium version. If you already have the premium version, then you will need to have your company’s Workplace admin turn on permissions for your Oculus for Business admin.
Does my businesses need a Workplace account for each Oculus for Business headset we purchase?
+No, you will only need accounts for your admins, but not for each headset. The Oculus for Business admin may be a different person from your Workplace admin.
What warranties and support are provided for the enterprise edition Oculus Quest?
+Enterprise edition Oculus Quest products include our enhanced enterprise support offering that provides hardware and software support via a dedicated help center, chat, email, and phone (call back) during the warranty period.
Enterprise edition Oculus Quest products also come with an extended 24-month hardware warranty and are eligible for advanced exchange.

What warranties and support are provided for enterprise edition Oculus Rift S and Oculus Go?

Transfer
+You may not purchase Oculus enterprise edition products on behalf of other parties and transfer or resell such products. If you are an independent software vendor (ISV) working with a customer who needs devices, please instruct such customer to purchase Oculus enterprise edition products directly.
Permitted Renting and Leasing
+You may rent or lease your Oculus products to a third party as part of a service or other offering, but you must have personnel present at all times to administer and supervise the use of the headsets. All permitted leasing is subject to the terms of the Headset Extended Community License, found here.
Not-Permissible Renting and Leasing
+You may not allow a third party to rent the headsets outright, without the headsets being under your supervision and control. Leaving your headsets with third parties is not permitted.
